the medical tent was bustling was evelyn strong walked in, adjusting her hat. heading straight to the desk at the back, she greeted her fellow nurses. "what do you need of me today?" she asked the head nurse. her tone was brisk, almost annoyed. the older woman looked at her, a satisfied smirk on her face. "only simplicities today, evie. woudn't want you running off into the jungles again." evie ignored the snickers from around her fellow nurses. the story of her running into the jungle to save a soldier was common knowledge among the camp. and while the soldiers called her brave, her fellow nurses called her foolish. "bed 10, reserve from the european front. wounded when he arrived."

i thought the title lyrics were appropriate in this situation! as i am in fact alive, and done for the summer! i finished my finals yesterday and am in the process of moving all my stuff back in (i never realized how much crap i actually have...). but that means i have more time for poly!! weeeee! so come talk to me, cos i mish you people very much!
 
things i accomplished in the 2012-2013 school year;
-survived a year of college {what actually. im old}
-changed my life/career plans
-decided to become a theatre arts minor instead of journalism
-got a job with the school theatre company
-made four playbills
-gained an unhealthy obsession with aaron tveit
-made a tumblr dedicated to tveit's face and to broadway

christine hurried down the streets of paris, as she was already running late. as she approached cafe musain, she smiled as she heard laughter inside. she opened and doors and swiftly climbed the stairs to the room they were meeting in. as she entered, she was swiftly greeted by the men near the door. "madmoiselle dupont!' cried a drunken grantaire, who swiftly fell off his chair, causing the other boys to laugh. christine laughed lightly and shook her head, glancing at courfeyrac, "no point in telling him to call me christine, is there?" the other boy laughed and shook his head. "won't remember it!" christine smiled warmly at the boy and looked around the room. she saw her dear friends marius and joly in a heated discussion, so she decided to sit with courfeyrac and combferre. as she sat, she locked eyes with a man across the room and grinned at him. her childhood best friend, enjolras, who was standing at the front of the room, a serious look on his face. she rolled her eyes, always planning, that one.
